What is file format conversion?

File format conversion is the process of transforming a file from one format (referred to as "STEP") to another (referred to as "A3D"). This may be necessary for various reasons. For example, STEP file may be incompatible with the software or device we want to use to open or edit it. In such cases, converting the file from format STEP to format A3D becomes essential.

These tools work by reading the data from the file in format STEP and transforming it into format A3D. This allows the preservation of the original information contained in the file, even after changing its format. Below you will find a list of STEP to A3D converters.
