File with an .IAF extension contains settings of an email account, in a proprietary format, specific to the older versions of Microsoft Outlook program. Currently, it can be opened – decoded with the Online IAF Decoder Web application or they can be imported in MS Outlook 2002 SE, 2003, 2007 versions.

How to associate the file with an installed software?
If you want to associate a file with a new program (e.g. my-file.IAF) you have two ways to do it. The first and the easiest one is to right-click on the selected IAF file. From the drop-down menu select "Choose default program", then click "Browse" and find the desired program. The whole operation must be confirmed by clicking OK.
